REVIEW- Blue Moon House by Angelica Dawson

I was given a copy of this book by the publisher on request of the author in return for as honest a review as I can give.

Well this is the first of Angelica Dawsons work that I have read and I have to say, I thoroughly enjoyed it.

The storyline mixed so well with erotic side that it just seemed like they went together like bread and butter.

I did feel like I didn't get to see enough of Harry as a character so found myself disliking him in some respects as I don't know his story but overall I think once I find out more about him I'm sure I'll like him much more. The same with Terrance.

I certainly didn't like Will in his Domme roll. Way to rough and mean for my liking.

I liked all of the female characters and found their part in this story really good.

I loved Julia as a lead character. She started out in my eyes as kind of sweet and innocent and when she was asked to join them at Blue Moon House she came out of her shell. Well that's just my thoughts anyway. You'll have to make your mind up when you read this yourself.

Definitely recommend this. Thank you Angelica for a very enjoyable book. Cant wait to 'get my teeth' into Blue Moon House: Kitten.

Watch this space and I'll be certain to let you know if I enjoy the prequel as much as I enjoyed this.

Happy Reading!

REVIEW- Linwood Barclay- Never look away

I LOVED this book! The plot had more twists my undies when I'm in a strop. (Trust me that's a lot lol)

When I first started reading this book, I assumed that the two main characters were two women. The way they hid their kisses from Ethan etc. I was genuinely surprised when I discovered they were a man and his wife.

The plot kept on getting thicker as I turned each page and the suspense was killing me. I just had to keep reading. I read in bed, I read in the loo, I even read while eating my dinner and feeding my children.

The shifts from character's perspectives as well kept things very interesting and I found myself rushing through the pages to get back to the main character to find out what was going on.

I wont say much more about the storyline or I'll spoil it for anyone that might want to read this but I will say that this is one of the best books you'll ever read. Quite a few times throughout, I kept thinking I knew who'd done what and what was going on but just I felt comfortable 'knowing' the plot twisted and had me doubting my thoughts.

Amazing read. Definitely one to take on holiday this summer.

REVIEW- A Soldiers Return by Ava Delany

Short, sweet and to the point.

The need of Janelle to be close to her man after his deployment is apparent. The way she waits for him to come through that and jumps into his arms says it all.

It has a really sweet ending too. It was more about love than sex which I think is good.

This was no where near long enough for me though and I would have liked a bit more build up and sweet nothings whispered and for the sex to last a bit longer but I suppose after a long time apart things aren't going to last that long if you catch my drift.

What happens next Ms. Delany? I cant wait to find out.

REVIEW- Good Enough to Share by Zara Stoneley

I have been asked by Zara Stoneley to review her book in exchange for an honest review.

Right where to start.

I LOVED this book. The way Zara has managed to go between steamy sex scenes and a 'normal' storyline was truly amazing. I didn't get bored once. If anything I got frustrated because I wanted to read faster to find out what happened.

The characters personalities were very likable and I managed to easily build a picture in my head of what they looked like and were like.

At one point I found myself fancying Charlie a little bit yet I cant work out why.... I really didn't like Sophie at the beginning. I thought she was a busy body and a bit to carefree sexually but towards the end I found myself really liking her and feeling sorry for her.

The Storyline behind this book is brilliant. Zara's writing style doesn't automatically shout out 'wow there is some really hot, steamy sex happening in a few pages time' but I like that. I have found myself wanting to read more now. To find out what happens to everyone next. The hot sex sessions are an added bonus.

My only problem with this book was that it wasn't long enough and now I really want to see more but I believe that, that is a good thing because it leaves a whole new area to explore with the next instalment.

Well done Ms. Stoneley. You have me hooked!

REVIEW- The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins

I managed to read this in just a couple of days despite my children being poorly.

I found this book so hard to put down. The author never once lost my attention. The characters are lovable and the scenery perfectly described. I found myself losing myself in the story. It was perfect at making me forget reality while I was lost in its pages.

I found the situations Katniss Everdeen was thrown into was relatable to some extent. Protecting her sister, not being able to fathom killing another human being and ultimately the fight for survival. All genius on the part of Suzanne Collins. The whole story was exciting and thrilling from start to finish.

As soon as the games started I was routing for Katniss and Peeta to fall in love for real and was really disappointed when it ended and they hadn't.

I really cannot wait for the next instalment. I also have yet to see the film and if its anything compared to this book then I wont be disappointed!

REVIEW- A Leap Of Faith by R. Brennan

R. Brennan gave me a copy of this book in return for an honest review which I shall be doing.

Well all I can say is Oh My Gosh. And not in a bad way.

R. Brennan has taken BDSM and vanilla sex to a new level. Well I'd say it was more 'strawberry' (not quite plain sex but not hardcore either).
The characters are likable and the sex scenes are hot. Get ready to fan yourself. I certainly felt a bit hot under the collar.
The whole story is well described to the point of feeling like a spectator. I could imagine every last detail.

Reading this has now left me with an ache to know more. I want to know what happens next.

I'd recommend this to anyone that enjoyed 50 shades of Grey. It held me in its grip from the get go and I truly believe it could be the next big thing.

I applaud you on this one R. Brennan. All I can say is I wish it was a bit longer and was a bit grossed about eating out of a dog bowl.

Hurry with the next instalment! I'm itching to know more!

Happy reading!
